Help Santa Toy Parade

March with the Greyhound Supporters this Saturday in the Help Santa Toy Parade. We are float #13. The staging area and starting point of the parade is in front of City Hall. The parade ends at Lansdowne Park. We will have a vehicle with us as part of our float and this will allow the hounds that get too tired or cold to take a break in the vehicle.

Participants, hounds and humans, are asked to dress up for the occasion by wearing something suitably festive. We do have a limited number of Santa overcoats for the hounds but they are just made of light fleece so please ensure that your hound is dressed for the weather. It can be very windy and cold on the Laurier Ave bridge.

There are public washrooms at City Hall, as well as inside Horticulture Building, there aren’t any comfort stations along the parade route.

Shuttle buses will run from TD Place (Lansdowne Park) to City Hall, from 8:30am-10am. Shuttle bus pick up will be on Princess Patricia near Queen Elizabeth Dr. at the shuttle loop. There is very limited parking at TD Place, please plan to car pool if possible. There are Private and City run parking lots in the area, as well as some street parking, please obey City Bylaws.

When: Saturday, November 17th from 10:30am to 1:30pm
Where: Position 13, On Laurier Ave between Elgin St and Nicholas Ave, Eastbound lane
